MicroStrategy 9 Release 3 available now

MicroStrategy announced the latest release of its BI platform, MicroStrategy 9 Release 3 (MicroStrategy 9.0.2 products), which is now available on the MicroStrategy Download Site. MicroStrategy 9 Release 3, the latest software release from MicroStrategy, is a fully integrated BI platform that makes Business Intelligence faster, easier, and more user-friendly. Specific enhancements in the newest release yield significant benefits to MicroStrategy customers, including:
- MicroStrategy Mobile – The Mobile product is now merged into the platform (previously 9.0.1m) with all latest platform fixes available and the following new features
- Alert Push Notifications enabling users to receive a notification on their mobile device when a threshold condition is met.
- Support for additional graph types and widgets
- Multi-Tasking support for suspended state in iOS4 that allows users to resume a session from where they left off (iPhone)
- Linked Drilling provides users the ability to organize related business reports into standardized workflows.
- Email Report Screen provides the ability to send an email of the currently selected screen as an attachment
- <Performance – MicroStrategy 9 Release 3 incorporates a new data compression technology that reduces sizes of certain dashboard types enabling fast transfer over networks. A new client rendering engine generates the HTML dashboard on the web client thereby improving rendering performance. These high performance dashboards can be seen via a new Express Mode in MicroStrategy Web which replaces the old View mode.
